Outdoor Laser Tag is the new realistic and painless way to play paintball without the impact and mess! By adapting real paintball markers with the high-tech Eagle Eye Laser Tag system, you get to experience this awesome activity at Hinterland Adventures Paintball site at Horotiu, Hamilton.

Played over our new third bush/gully Paintball field and speedball field (when available), there’s no need for masks as the lasers are completely safe. The third Paintball field has seen some ‘digger work’ over the last month which has created some awesome bunkers and increased the excitement factor.

How does the Outdoor Laser Tag marker work?

The action of pulling the trigger creates a ‘bang’ sound and activates the infra-red signal, shooting it at the opposition team player, while the receiver keeps track of all the hits, your ammunition level and your ‘health’ (or lives) level. A hit to the receiver from any angle will record a hit. Each time you score a hit on another player, the system will broadcast the information out to all players within range. Once you’re out of ammunition, health or the time limit has been reached the system automatically shuts down and it’s time to re-load at the viewing platform.

Outdoor Laser Tag is for everyone!

It’s the perfect game for groups or individuals concerned about the perceived mess or pain of traditional paintball or for those not old enough to enjoy the full Paintball experience. It’s appealing to young players, parties, social clubs, sports teams, corporate outings or schools. Minimum age is 7years old and you'll need 10 or more players to make it happen, find the packages on our pricing page. Paintball Laser Tag cannot be played in the rain. Screening from our other Paintball fields separates play and you still have access to our covered bbq area and a covered viewing platform.
