PAINTBALL HAMILTON

Hinterland Adventures' premier Paintball fields are conveniently situated just 15 mins north from Hamilton CBD at Hutchinson Road, Horotiu off SH1.  Our Paintball operation has been running in Hamilton for 6 years and offers you a professional and friendly service, high safety standards and quality gear, all situated over an awesome 10 acre block on the banks of the Waikato river. Our three outdoor fields are brimming with atmosphere, action & adventure  making Paintball Hamilton THE place to experience this amazing team sport.

Play Paintball with Hinterland Adventures & let your team experience two or even three very different playing fields during one session. Two large gully & bush fields create scenario style play while the speedball field allows some intense close quarters excitement.

Using your powers of communication, team work & logical thinking you will battle your way to capturing the flag & taking the glory of a win for your team! A fun competition between two or more teams shooting it out for well earned points keeps things interesting in a lighthearted competitive way.  The covered viewing platform is brilliant for ensuring spectators (and the occasional player!) watch the action & enjoy the atmosphere safely. Extend your event by utilising the BBQ area that overlooks both Paintball fields after or before your event (charge applies ), it's a great place to kick back & enjoy some food & drink while watching teams going nuts (for catering options & details please visit our catering page).

Bush Field Description - A fern lined creek runs through the centre of the pine gully & provides perfect cover for those commando moments! The many trees, ferns & barricades provide areas to duck behind while still keeping this as an open field that contains no blackberry! This openness allows for movement of the game which helps ensure that all players are involved throughout the session.

Speedball Field Description - Speed ball is the name of the game on field two. Over 60 obstacles are strategically placed across a flat field with a central fort for the taking. Tactically completely different from the pine gully, this is a fast moving highly strategic game that is great fun. There’s paint flying in all directions & often one member of a team will decide to ‘run for it’ - defintately not to be missed!

NEW - 3rd Field Set in Bush - we've opened a third playing field. This field challenges you with a swampy area, stream, heaps of ferns and punga's, lots of hiding areas and here you can experience scenario games. For example one of your 'men' has been captured by the other team...it's your mission to rescue the prisoner and return him to your camp. This field is new, but has already been rated a favourite by players. Select the $85 full Paintball package to experience this awesome new zone.

Essentials

-Bookings in advance are essential and are taken on the hour, 7 days a week with the last booking starting at 7pm

• -Minimum age of 11yrs
• -Minimum group size of 8 players for day games. No maximum group size – the more the merrier!
• -A full session will last 2-3 hours (depending on package chosen & size of group – see our pricing page for packages)
• -Wear sturdy closed in footwear
• -Bring a great attitude!
• -All the safety gear & equipment is provided
• -A limited number of chest and back protectors are available free of charge
• -Drinking water is provided on site, however we recommend you also bring your own bottle of water

• -With groups of under 20 people, we reserve the right to add another age appropriate group to yours to help with bookings on busy days.  Basically you still shoot your mates, but have some extra targets too!!
• -Intoxicated persons are not permitted to play at Paintball Hamilton fields but please feel free to enjoy a drink after your event at our BBQ area.
• -Stag & Hen do’s are welcome

OUTDOOR LASER TAG

Outdoor Laser Tag is the new realistic and painless way to play paintball without the impact and mess! By adapting real paintball markers with the high-tech Eagle Eye Laser Tag system,you get to experience this awesome activity on our outdoor bush third field.

The sound created by firing the marker activates the infra red signal and the receiver keeps track of all the hits. A hit to the receiver from any angle will record a hit. Each time you score a hit on another player, the system will broadcast the information out to all players within range.

Outdoor Laser Tag is for everyone! It’s the perfect game for groups or individuals concerned about the perceived mess or pain of traditional paintball.
